iLivestock is excited to launch eWeighDS, our latest piece of connected livestock hardware, at the Royal Highland Show on 18 June 2026. Launching at the Royal Highland Show makes this a particularly special moment for the iLivestock team. As one of the UK’s leading agricultural events, and a major date in the Scottish farming calendar, it is a fitting place to introduce the newest addition to the iLivestock ecosystem on our home turf.
eWeighDS is a new digital weigh head designed to support accurate livestock weight capture at the point of handling. It can be used as a standalone weigh head, with weights displayed clearly on screen, or connected to the iLivestock app to record individual animal weights and link them to wider livestock records.
The launch strengthens iLivestock’s connected hardware range, which already includes the eTagReader, eWeigh, and eWeighBars. Together, these tools help connect livestock handling, electronic identification, weighing, and animal records in one practical system.
This week, eWeighDS is launching in the UK, Argentina, Canada, France, and the USA, with rollout through iLivestock’s established distribution partners.

The launch comes as livestock markets around the world continue to place greater emphasis on electronic identification, traceability, productivity, and better use of farm data. For iLivestock, eWeighDS represents another step in building connected, practical technology that supports cattle and sheep enterprises across different markets and production systems.
