New Breeding Screen Makes Recording Livestock Easier
Recording and managing livestock breeding is now easier with iLivestock’s rebuilt breeding screen. The update reduces admin and guesswork, making it quicker to record breeding events, automatically calculate due dates, and keep track of herd performance over time.
The new workflow is designed to be clear and practical, with built-in automation to cut down on manual entry. That means fewer taps, fewer mistakes, and better visibility of what’s happening across your herd.
Here's what's new:
- Automated expected birthdates based on breeding records
- Support for all breeding types: Natural service, AI (Artificial Insemination), and ET (Embryo Transfer)
- Multi-sire support: record multiple sires or link existing animals in your herd
- Group breeding : apply breeding records to multiple animals at once
- Redesigned entry process for quicker, clearer record keeping
- Updated breeding summary view with full editing flexibility
The updated screen also lets you record male-in and male-out dates, scan results, birthing information, and track lineage across generations. Keeping all breeding information in one place makes it easier to monitor genetics, assess performance, and plan ahead with confidence.
This update is part of our ongoing work to improve iLivestock features and make day-to-day farm management simpler. It’s not just a visual change — it’s built to save time, reduce errors, and support a more straightforward breeding season.
We’re excited to see how this helps our farmers manage breeding more efficiently.
