Scottish Manufacturer of the Year Awards
iLivestock joined manufacturers from across Scotland at the Made in Scotland Awards, following its Manufacturer of the Year shortlist recognition.
iLivestock was proud to represent Scottish agri-tech as a Manufacturer of the Year finalist at the Insider Made in Scotland Awards 2026.
The awards ceremony took place on 8 October at voco Grand Central Glasgow, bringing together manufacturers, engineers and innovators from across the country.
iLivestock was shortlisted in the under £10m category alongside Cnuic Technologies, IOLLA, Lochcarron of Scotland, Motivity Solutions Ltd and Stewart Technology Ltd. The category brought together a particularly diverse group of businesses spanning technology, engineering, consumer brands and heritage manufacturing.
Congratulations to Stewart Technology Ltd, who was named Manufacturer of the Year (under £10m), and to all the businesses and individuals recognised during the evening.
Ewen Wardman, CEO and co-founder of iLivestock, said:
“Naturally, we would have loved to bring the award home, but being shortlisted from a record number of entries remains a significant achievement for our team.
It was a privilege to stand alongside such a varied and impressive group of Scottish manufacturers. The recognition reinforces our commitment to building manufacturing capability in Scotland and developing practical, affordable technology for sheep and cattle farmers worldwide.”
Based in Fife, iLivestock develops connected livestock hardware and software that helps farmers identify, weigh and manage their animals. Its flagship eWeigh technology connects compatible weighing and electronic identification equipment directly to the iLivestock mobile app.
The company’s 8,200 sq ft manufacturing centre in Dunfermline brings research and development, engineering, manufacturing, quality control, logistics and dispatch together under one roof.
Reaching the final follows a period of continued growth for iLivestock and provides further independent recognition of the team’s work. The company will continue investing in its Scottish manufacturing capability, expanding its international partner network and developing practical technology for livestock farmers around the world.
Thank you to Insider Media, the judging panel, event sponsors and everyone who supported iLivestock throughout the awards process.
