Updated groups feature now available in iLivestock

The Groups feature in iLivestock has been updated to make it easier to manage sheep and cattle in the app. Groups are a core part of iLivestock and are used by farmers to organise animals for breeding, treatments, performance checks, sales, movements, and day-to-day stock management.

This update gives the Groups section a refreshed design and a more practical workflow, making it easier for customers to find, view, and manage the animals they work with every day.

Group and animal counts are now more visible, making it quicker to check how many groups are set up and how many animals are in each group. This is useful when reviewing breeding mobs, treatment groups, sale groups, grazing groups, or any other working group on farm.

The next release will also bring a clearer group detail view, making it easier to access notes, group stats, the animal list, and available actions. Animal lists within groups will be improved too, with search, filters, multi-select, and bulk actions available where supported.

The Groups area has also been rebuilt to support the long-term development of the iLivestock mobile app. While the update brings a cleaner, more modern look, it is also an important technical improvement that helps prepare the app for future group, and stock list updates.

These updates are part of our wider work to keep iLivestock practical, reliable, and ready for ongoing development, so the app can continue supporting farmers in the UK, Argentina, Canada, France, the USA, Paraguay, and other countries as their businesses and data needs grow.
